I also apologize for this poor excuse of a post, it's getting pretty late and I need sleep.
I am going to South Africa soon for a vacation! So while I'm there, I will be blogging vigorously about my adventures, so don't stop reading just yet!

This is what happens when you've been doing homework for too long
Hi everyone! :)
Being alive is one of the most miraculous things that can and will (maybe, you never know) happen to you and the fact that you can read this makes it even more special. There are so many people fighting for survival out there in countries where war surrounds them and the dangers of disease hangs in the polluted air.

There are so many people fighting for survival out there in countries where war surrounds them and the dangers of disease hangs in the polluted air.
You, on the other hand, sitting in your warm and safe home yelling at your mother because she made your least favourite dinner, yes, you, you are privileged so much that getting an iPhone for your birthday is a disappointment. That's right, there are children on their own with a lifespan of about 11 years trembling with fear during this cold winter and you're angry because you wanted the newest iPhone in the colour your parents didn't get.
Well you know what, suck it up. That's right, stop thinking about yourself and wandering aimlessly on the internet reading random's blogs (my blog will be pretty cool though, so you can keep reading it :P) but instead do something about the bigger picture. Go out and do something productive-volunteer at your local SALVOS, go to a soup kitchen or even just dropping into a nursing home and striking up a conversation with some of the elderly not only makes them feel better, but you as well. Go out into the world and find your purpose. (Hint, it is NOT saving up to buy a new iPhone in the right colour.)
So this is what happens when you're in front of your computer doing your English work for too long, you start a blog and the first thing you post is about changing the world (how super cliche of me).
